Position: Enterprise Architect/Snr. Systems Engineer Location: Chantilly, VA Education: Technical Bachelor's Degree or Higher Experience: 15+ years Position Overview: Primarily position responsibilities include supporting the migration to the cloud environment taking advantage of both the IC Information Technology Enterprise (IC ITE) and Agency unique environments. This includes identifying capabilities required across the business and mission spaces and sequencing technologies to support them while at the same time providing the highest value to the enterprise. The candidate will be well versed in working and communicating at senior levels (SES), have proven track record of implementing/executing both cloud architectures and agile engineering programs, be able to structure and formulate governance and decision making boards and have very strong communication skills. The candidate will also support the development of a performance management framework including proposing and influencing changes to the architecture, design, development methods and quality of the overall product/application. This will be completed through performance measurements, monitoring and management initiatives that serve to improve application performance and minimize quality issues. This position works throughout a product life cycle with Product Leaders and Service Providers to establish measurable performance goals which meet organization objectives and market requirements. Principal Responsibilities: In cooperation with the Service Broker, analyze and forecast the short and long range planning of release features. Responsible for advancing the efficiency and effectiveness of performance measures through process standardization, automation and access to information. Reviewing API's and database models - making recommendations to improve application and system performance. Working with complex architectures and large datasets that need creative and unique methods to perform with demanding expectations. Establish performance criteria and measurement processes to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and continuous quality improvement of services. Recommend internal technology to automate administrative processes to improve service levels, reduce error rates to drive quality in performance and services. Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures and artifacts including process documentation, tools, and templates and supporting information. Facilitate the identification of continuous process improvement initiatives and the prioritization of these initiatives with the Product teams. Monitor processes, targets and service level agreements to ensure that participating processes and initiatives are meeting targets. Identify automated processes, workflow and reporting capabilities to drive quality and efficiency of services and operational procedures. Evaluate the performance tests; develop corrective actions for future improvements. Manage timely deliverables with strong communication, building teams and cross functional partnering.
