Outpatient Geriatric opportunity in Petersburg, VA! Work in 3-year old PACE clinic to provide comprehensive care to the elderly! Patients have the opportunity to receive a variety of primary care and rehabilitation services. Hospital is looking for a primary care physician to take care of primary care needs and coordinate services. Hospital is losing a physician that has decided to take on an infectious disease role. Physician should have a normal, Mon thru Fri 8:30A to 4:30P workweek. Position allows for flexibility. Physician will have ability to change schedule when necessary. Physician will typically see 10 to 15 patients per day. Physician will mostly see patients in center but may see a few patients in home and nursing home settings. Center has as many as 150 patients at the facility during the day. Office is equipped with electronic medical records. Position will be purely outpatient with 1:14 phone call, call schedule. $180K to $200K compensation + Bonus (Up to 10% of salary) + malpractice, health, 6 weeks vacation/CME, $xxxx CME, retirement, etc. Petersburg is a nice community with local population of 35K, only 30 minutes from Richmond, VA. Candidate could live in Petersburg or Richmond. Richmond has beautiful neighborhoods with striking architecture, a vast cultural and education heritage for more than it's 200,000 citizens, and a noted historic prestige.
